Binary Ninja Sidekick

Reasons for a Service-Based Product

At Vector35, we understand the importance of transparency and privacy for our users. We want to assure our customers that we are not moving towards a SaaS model, but rather offering Sidekick as a service-based product to better meet the needs of our customers.

We believe that certain features, such as those that rely on an accumulated body of knowledge beyond the content in an opened binary, are best built as a service. Sidekick uses a combination of privately trained models, fine-tuned models, and 3rd party services. So engineering considerations such as updating AI models and managing hardware requirements make it more practical to offer Sidekick as a service.

We want to assure our users that we do not use the information from their binaries to build or refine our system without their consent based on our terms of service. For all accesses to the Sidekick service, we collect and send the minimum amount of information required to fulfill requests and provide the service. We also tailored our data privacy policy to the reverse-engineering privacy concerns of our customers. Our data privacy policy outlines the information that is collected, stored, used, and retained by our cloud-hosted service when using the Sidekick plugin.

We want to thank you for your continued support and hope that Sidekick gives a significant boost to your reverse-engineering work. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at sidekick@vector35.com.
